This is considered to be one of the most progressive film courses in the country. It provides a cutting-edge journey in digital film-making that covers a range of audio-visual expressions, such as conceptual film-making, entertainment, documentaries and advertising.
The subject covers all aspects of the film-making process and provides an in-depth knowledge of scriptwriting, directing, as well as picture and sound editing.
During the first two years, technical skills, such as camera, lighting and on-set sound are developed. The third year focuses on developing organisational skills that are relevant to the production process.
Strong emphasis is placed on meaningful and appropriate content. Therefore, the course focuses on film philosophy, film psychology and critical thinking.
The animation course follows the latest industry trends and provides the necessary skills to become part of the rapidly expanding digital entertainment industry. The subject enables students to produce high-end 3D content for the film, television, game and simulation industries.
