INTERNAL MULTIMEDIA DESIGNER

Oakfields College

Must be able to interpret briefs and develop creative artwork on a campaign basis.
• Be able to conceptualise and execute innovative, creative designs and ideas for digital and traditional media and stay on top of industry trends.
• Must be able to manage projects from brief to final.
• Design of creative content for all social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Youtube), including but not limited to videos, gifs, visual effects, animations, and other related graphics.
• Print design including but not limited to billboards, banners, brochures, pamphlets, posters, stickers, merchandise, advertisements and signs. These concepts also need to scale for digital platforms including but not limited to: Social Media, Website Banners / Landing Pages, Google Ads, any ad-hoc requests, etc.
• Creation of offline support documents such as forms, student manuals and guides.
• Assist with any in-house design required – provide design support for all departments.
• Ensure that brand guidelines are followed and improved on.
• UI design and supply of creative assets for website and mobile applications. An understanding of responsive design, bootstrap, HTML, CSS, Android design and iOS design.
• Managing the website (ie uploading blogs, banners, etc)
• The implementation of consistent quality control for the Oakfields College brand – both internally and externally, on every platform used and, in any format, required.
• Create or oversee the creation videos for social media and edits where required.
• Researching and obtaining quotes for marketing purposes.
• Required to assist management in other areas of running the campus when necessary and when time permits.
EDUCATION – Qualification in Graphic Design / Multi-media arts

SKILLS REQUIRED
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro)
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
• Must have a clear understanding of digital design as well as print design (responsive, mobile, etc)
• Must have a clear understanding of social media, and the various formats for artwork, as well as a basic understanding of social media marketing.
• Must have an understanding of digital advertising integration, social media and SEO optimisation for design collateral.
