Graphic Designer

What we are looking for:

A self-motivated Graphic Designer with the skills and abilities to effectively engage with stakeholders and use a variety of design elements and principles to develop and design material for branding and marketing purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

DESIGN

• Create highly engaging graphic content for print and digital media
• Participate in sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas
• Design the aesthetic components for publications, packaging, corporate clothing, corporate identity, and signage designs

SOCIAL MEDIA

• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and consistent with the company image
• Maintain the interactive content and real-time experience of the group across all social media channels, e.g.: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn

ADDITIONAL:

• Create new fonts (Typography design)
• Create digital media drawings (Illustration)
• Proofread text and copy write
• Develop presentations using Doodly and Prezi
• Shoot and edit video material
• Shoot and edit photos

TECHNOLOGIES USED

• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe Indesign
• MS Office 365 Suite

• A graphic design qualification
• Print and digital media expertise
• A portfolio of work
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• The ability to work effectively in a team
• The ability to apply creativity to design innovative solutions
• A valid South African ID

PACKAGE AND REMUNERATION:

The salary is market-related and negotiable, depending on relevant experience and qualifications.
