In this world\, the mysterious monster aren’t just legends\, they’re wildly imaginative protectors of enchanted loot box treasures. These cryptids aren’t here to scare you; they’re artists\, inventors\, and defenders of magical oddities tucked away in secret caves\, misty forests\, and forgotten realms. \nLoot boxes are exactly what you’d expect\, you open the box and get loot! We will be bringing this concept to life\, by designing and building real world loot boxes that dispense prizes.

This is an opportunity for you to present an extract from anything you may currently be researching\, with the intention to influence and inspire one another\, spark dialogue\, and receive constructive feedback. \nTheo Sonnekus: “Jock and the Great Outdoors”: White American Masculinities\, Gay Reader-Tourists\, and Fantasies of Africa in Postwar Physique Magazines \nDrawing from a selection of images by the South African photographer Jock\, this article explores the historical construction of exotic white masculinities in postwar physique magazines. DESCRIPTION:– STUDENTS & STAFF – \nJoin the Stellenbosch Film Arts Department for a full day intensive workshop about film workflows. This workshop will start with pre-production\, and in-depth look at the decisions made and how it affects the entire workflow. After a thorough pre-production meeting the workshop will move to the Temple set where we will shoot a short film. After this we will move to post-production. We will sync footage and sound\, do a basic edit and then consider the file interchange process to hand over the project to sound and we will also consider this process in relation to other post processes such as grading.

DESCRIPTION:– STUDENTS & STAFF ONLY – \nAnimation Arts presents:\nCameron Shefer-Boswell (Motion XP) is a well known Motion Designer that teaches After Effects techniques on Youtube. He will be presenting a Layer Styles After Effects workshop for 1-2 hours with time for a Q&A. The aim is that the attendees will be exposed to advanced layer styling techniques in After Effects to learn how to present projects professionally. The goal is that attendees will be able to follow along in After Effects and have something to show off at the end of the session. \nThis session is geared towards mostly Motion Design 2nd and 3rd year students and people with some experience with After Effects already. \nCameron is a self-taught motion designer with a Fine Art background and over a decade of experience in the industry. With no formal training in design or animation\, he built his skills from the ground up through YouTube tutorials\, online courses\, and lots of practice. \nCameron has worked both in-house and freelance\, collaborating with global brands like Facebook\, Uber\, BMW\, AT&T\, and Apple.
