Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign is a powerful desktop publishing software application used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers and books. As an introduction, students will be taught how to create and layout periodical publications, posters and print media as part of the skills necessary to become a competent graphic designer currently expected for today’s industry standard. The first part of the course serves as a basic introduction to the effective application of arranging content within the program InDesign. Following the basic introduction, an intermediate introduction to the effective application of content within visual communication using image and text is offered.
