Film Editing

The Film Editing course develops the practical skills and techniques related to the editing process, from working in different media formats to editing and exploring footage for specific outputs. The basics of film conventions are explored and learners are familiarised with Adobe Premiere Pro interface.

Learners are expected to produce a 3-5 minute showreel where they demonstrate the various editing skills acquired throughout the course. Upon completion of the course, learners will have developed a holistic understanding of the various facets involved in the editing process.
