Job Purpose

The purpose of the Marketing assistant is to support the marketing team in various tasks and activities to help promote our

company’s products and services. This will include market research, campaign coordination, content creation, social media

management, data analysis, administrative support, branding and collateral, event coordination.

Overall, the marketing assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the marketing team by contributing to various marketing

activities, ensuring smooth operations, and helping achieve the company’s marketing objectives.

General Duties

1. Client experience calls

a. Call the client after an order has been completed & capture the data – daily

b. Precompile testimonials and send to clients/send a Google review link – daily

c. Send client experience call action points to relevant parties and follow up until they have been actioned –

daily

d. Send data to and signed testimonials weekly

2. Reseller of the month testimonials

a. Request and analyse data to determine reseller of the month and technical reseller of the month – monthly

b. Request testimonials from the resellers of the month – monthly

3. Marketing meetings

a. Schedule marketing meetings with agenda’s – weekly

b. Compile and send marketing meetings action points – weekly

4. Reseller and VPBX newsletters

a. Assist with compiling the newsletters – monthly

5. General duties

a. Spot check content & artwork – when required

b. Order pre-approved marketing collateral – when required

c. Assist with coordinating events – when required

d. Rebrand/compile documents – when required

e. Monitor [email protected] and action – when required

f. Assist with compiling exco presentations – when required

g. Review job advertisement content when required

h. Other marketing & communication duties – when required

i. Monitor incoming leads – daily

Requirements

• Degree or experience in marketing (required)

• Content creation experience (required)

• Bulk email platform experience (required)

• Graphic design platform experience (required)

• Customer call experience (preferable)

• Very well spoken and written (required)

• Project management (preferable)

• Self-driven (required)

• Able to work in a team and independently (required)

• Able to work in a fast pace environment (required)

• Understanding of the ICT industry (preferable)

• Event coordination experience (preferable)

Other

• Complies with the company’s vision, policies and procedures

• Performs other tasks as assigned by management

• Applying the principle of privacy and confidentiality to all work practices
