Where Stories Begin – Storytelling and Creative Writing Workshop

April 17 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS, STAFF & ALUMNI

Storytelling is as ancient as humankind. Our ancestors told stories around a fire as a form of community and mythmaking. Join us for a creative writing workshop presented by Hanna Sephton, OW MakerSpace Technician and former Screenwriting student. You will be guided through a series of writing activities designed to challenge conventional approaches to storytelling, centred on the theme of THE OW BURN. The workshop will culminate in a short story being written by each participant as well as one communal narrative piece.

Time: 10:00 – 13:00
Venue: Open Window Library, Stellenbosch
