The Pangolin Awards 2018 (Visual Communication & Creative Technologies)

The Pangolin is in other words an endangered, solitary, and predominantly nocturnal mammal covered in scales. They are well adapted for digging and climbing using their tails and rear legs for support and balance. We believe the Pangolin’s uniqueness, resilience and dexterity is a worthy metaphor for our Open Window graduates. Whilst many mysteries surround the Pangolin’s behaviour and habits. What is known, is that they, like creative spirits, do not do well in captivity.

In honour of these fiercely independent creatures and in partnership and recognition of the efforts. Of The National Zoological Gardens in bringing awareness to critically endangered animals. We have therefore chosen to name The Open Window Graduate awards for excellence in creativity. The Pangolin Awards. In conculsion this year, the award ceremony will celebrate.
