A photographer is a storyteller. A storyteller who does not need any words to tell their story.
In addition by combining technical skills and an appreciation for observing the world around us. A photographer is able to capture a moment that will forever encapsulate how rich reality truly is.
Therefore reflections is an exhibition that uses the medium of photography to explore. In other words the concept of the Other in South African contemporary life.
In addition this exhibition, you will see how the final year students of the Open Window focus. Their collective lenses on marginalised or under-represented groups. In conculsion within our culture and hold up a mirror that invites us to reflect on our own lives.
