Tokyo Tour – Information Evening

Since 2017 we have made it a priority to create an opportunity each year for our students to explore Europe under the guidance of their lecturers. This year we’ve decided to extend our reach to Tokyo, Japan from 1 to 11 September. This tour is an opportunity for students to be exposed to the latest developments in an array of art technologies that we teach at Open Window. We plan to thoroughly explore Tokyo’s animé and VR gaming culture, its unique contemporary art exhibits, and robotics museums and to get a taste of all things Japanese including Ninja’s, temples and local cuisine. In addition to this, we will be spending two nights at Mount Fuji where students can relax and take in the Japanese landscape after a week in the city.

We are hosting an Info Session about the tour on Monday 20 March at 18h00 in the Atrium, on campus. Registration forms will be handed out then and more information will be given regarding the itinerary, payments and visas. There will also be time for Q and A.

Please note that there is limited space available for the tour and that preference will be given to OW students. Payments and registration will be open from 21 March and will close on 9 April.

For your planning, please note that our tour in September 2024 will be to Italy.
