Beginner's Casting Workshop

Join our Product Design team from the School of Creative Technologies for a beginner’s Casting Workshop!

Learn the basics of silicone mold making and resin casting by making your own propagation station.

What is a propagation station you might ask? Propagation is the process of growing new plants from plant clippings. A propagation stand allows you to check on and care for your new plants while they develop roots.

What to expect:

  • Combine 3D printing technology with resin casting techniques.
  • Customise the product by selecting the colours of your stand.
  • Keep the reusable silicone mold! This makes re-casting more stands at home possible.
  • All materials and equipment will be included in the price.

The workshop will be presented by Sarah from So-Resin & Molds
